How the Nazi's rose to power

Isn’t the best example of a controversial political party, the nazi party?

And wouldn’t it be best to learn from the masters?

“To follow the path, look to the master, follow the master, walk with the master, see through the master, become the master.” - Zen Proverb

At the moment we are currently making decisions on what sounds good, but wouldn’t it be better to learn from people that have rose to power before and use their techniques, because that’s how anyone becomes an expert in anything right? You learn from the master and improve on what they did, your decisions shouldn’t be based on what you think sounds good, they should be based on what has been proven to work. The Nazi’s and the swedish pirate party are good examples of successful parties, other than them the only parties that have been in power have been OWO, learning from other parties is the first step to rise to power, the Nazi’s had a great propaganda campaign, they managed to sway the minds of those in Nazi germany and got what they wanted.

The Nazi party were students of gustave le bon, he wrote many books on influencing public opinion, it was a science and it had been proven to work, they did rise to power because they knew scientifically what worked and didn’t, they didn’t just base their political efforts what they thought was right, nor did they use reason alone to make decisions, they learnt from people before them, the problem with reason is that it creates illusive theories and is ilimited to the knowledge you have, you can only reason with what you know, creating conclusions from premises, wouldn’t it be simpler to just take what’s already been proved to work and do that?

So why don’t we do the same?

I see where you are coming from. I always love it when people have a sudden ‘awareness’ moment when out and about. Everyone has it inside, some buried deeper than others. Art or music can have that effect on people. Banksy does a half decent job but it isn’t enough. People love innovating ideas even if they appear to be at first ridiculous, as long as they appeal to their common ‘awareness’ senses, they will listen. It’s getting them to act on it that is hard, most people today do just enough to stay comfortable.

I am not an expert on the Nazis but I understand they employed highly qualified people in their fields to complete their part of the great master plan. They made the German people feel like they were worth more than they were actually being led to believe they were. Appealing to their vanities and giving them a feeling of a better life awaiting them, and all of it easily achievable if only they realise that foreign involvement is ruining Germany. Seemed to work for a while until they started murdering the foreigners.

It’s all very well and good to study the history and the theory of revolution, but none of these movements intending to bring about grand change on a vast scale have ever taken off without some kind of exigent circumstances driving otherwise apathetic people to begin to take an interest in it. The Nazis would not have gotten anywhere if it weren’t for the punitive indemnities outlined in the Treaty of Versailles and if it weren’t for the Wall Street Crash.

So we can’t copy their methods as such, since those exigent circumstances don’t exist today, at least not in the identical form. We have no way of objectively differentiating the impacts of their methods and the impacts of the circumstances. And so, just reading the theory won’t do a lot of good because until we start to implement it we won’t be able to know what will still work today and what won’t.
