Welcome to Meritocracy Now!, the place where you can engage with other activists in promoting and implementing Meritocratic Democracy across the world.
We welcome all activists involved in making Meritocratic Democracy a reality in their respective communities. We also welcome anyone who is interested in learning more about Meritocracy.
Why participate?
If you’re serious about spreading Meritocratic Democracy the first step is to connect with fellow activists. This platform provides you the opportunity to find others where you live and to join local groups, or even to start your own!
You’ll be able to plan, coordinate and share work as you build up the foundations for creating a successful Meritocracy Party where you live.
How to get involved?
Meritocracy Now! has a category for each country where there is a “meritocratic presence”. You can check out the category for where you live and find out the latest news and more importantly what needs to be done to accomplish the goals that particular group has set for themselves.
Taking the initiative is fundamental, and you’re welcome to do so at all times. If you want to do something that you think will further Meritocracy, but aren’t sure whether it’s a good idea, try to find at least two other people who’ll get involved with the course of action you have in mind.
What to do?
- Join a local group by introducing yourself.
- Add yourself to the respective skill rosters.
- Look at jobs that need to be filled.
- Look at the work lists to find out what needs to be done.
- Or ASK how you can get involved! Be sure to present yourself first and detail what you can do, i.e. whether you have any specific skills (such as graphic design), and tell us how you’d ideally like to contribute.
